A lot has happened since I last updated the blog.
Zach turned 5!
I know everyone says it but it is still true.
The time goes by so fast. Just shy of a month later we welcomed
"Baby Jazmine" in to our family!
As I sit and hold our sweet new baby I can't help but look at Zach and Jackie and think "You were just here...all curled up in my arms." And now look at them. Zach is playing soccer and tee ball and driving a motor bike out in the west desert. Jackie is practicing head stands and wishing she could play ball right along side of her brother.
They are both such big helpers and love their little sister so much. Much to my surprise there are elements to number three that are a lot easier then one and two. For instance it seems that everytime you sit down to feed the baby the phone rings.......with my first I would have to manage my way to where ever I left the phone. Now all I have to do is ask one of the older two to grab it for me. Same with burp clothes and items I might drop in the process.
Dan has been great to take the kids on bike rides or to grandma's so that I can have a rest or just a little quite time. He is such a great dad! He had a birthday since I last posted 41! His birthday is exactly a week after Jazmine and right around if not on Mother's day. We are going to party for a week straight for the rest of our lives!
I will post photos of the Baby and birthdays when I get them organized there are only about a half a million to look thru.
The pictures I am posting today are the result of yesterday.
It had been and eventful day at our house. The first time I had managed to get Jackie's hair in two french braids an have them stay for more then two minutes. We painted her toes with glitter it was a true princess day for Jackie!
Until about 3:30 when she came running into the living room to inform me she had cut her hair. If you look close at this first picture you can see that she took the scissors straight through the center of her right side french braid. From the front of her head as far back as she could reach.
Through near tears I unravled her braid as long pieces of hair came out in my hands some as long as 7 inches. This pile is not even all of it. Not knowing what else I could do I called Hayley to the rescue. My luck her appointment didn't show and I was able to take her straight to Hayley's house.

Literally and inch in more then one area.
But Hayley's fingers worked their magic and we managed
the cutest comb over known to mankind.
She doesn't look very happy in this shot mostly because her very mean mother (after finding her completely naked standing on the front porch wanting her swimsuit on) refused her a sprinkler party and outside playtime. What can I say I had had enough!
I absolutely love the haircut and it will be even cutier when the other side of her hair grows in but until then we will make bows and head bands to match all outfits.

Thank you Hayley for the very cute fix and I will find a way to pay you back!
To all of the rest of you stay posted for baby pictures!

I am pretty sure I would die if Abby ever cuts her hair. I am vowing right now to never have scissors where she can reach them (wish me luck with that one). Her hair does look really cute though.
Oh Janette, what a mess that was! But she does look really, really cute. Glad I could help!
